Yesterday we got our 171-H - NOTICE OF FAVORABLE DETERMINATION CONCERNING APPLICATION FOR ADVANCE PROCESSING OF ORPHAN PETITION!!! This is the document we got fingerprinted for. I thought it was going to take MUCH longer, but it was less than 2 weeks!! I just have to make sure that the application got sent to the National Visa Center in New Jersey and they are going to send it to Addis Ababa.
We're still waiting for a referral. Hopefully we will know our child's name, birthday, and what he looks like by Christmas! Thanks for your prayers.
